Get Ready for Apple CarPlay!

Toyota technology is among the best in the industry. Infotainment systems like Entune 3.0 Premium do an excellent job integrating smartphone technology into everyday vehicle use. But with Apple occupying such a commanding chunk of the smartphone industry and with such prevalent use, Toyota has decided for the first time to include Apple CarPlay into one of their vehicles.

That’s right – for the first time ever, a Toyota vehicle will be equipped with Apple CarPlay technology. It was announced at the North American International Auto Show, better known as the Detroit Auto Show. The new 2019 Toyota Avalon is the model that will introduce Apple CarPlay into the Toyota lineup.

• Siri Eyes-Free technology works with text messaging services. With Siri, all it takes is a natural voice command to have your latest text messages read back to you while responding is as simple as dictation.
• Whether you use Apple Maps or Google Maps, Apple CarPlay takes navigation to a new level. It means turn-by-turn directions and finding local services are literally just a voice command away.
• Using Spotify, Apple Music, Overcast, Stitcher, or your local media, streaming music is simple and diverse.

The first Toyota to receive Apple CarPlay is the 2018 Toyota Avalon. However, you can rest assured it won’t be the only one. Look for Apple CarPlay to find its way into your favorite Toyota very soon!
