How to Use Bluetooth With Entune Audio

Toyota vehicles are jam-packed with convenience and technology features meant to keep you and your family safe. Whether it’s the Toyota Safety Sense options, or passive safety features like anti-lock brakes and traction control, you can be sure that every Toyota focuses on a positive driving experience. But along with new technology comes a challenge — how do you use it? That goes for some of the basic standard features as well, like pairing your phone to Bluetooth with Entune App Suite.

How to Pair Your Phone for Bluetooth with Entune Audio

It’s not as hard as it might initially look. The multiple icons on your infotainment display are intimidating to some. The pairing sequence has been designed as logically as possible, but we all need help sometimes, right? Here are the steps to pairing your device with Bluetooth.

Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone. Whether you have an Apple iPhone, and Android device, or a Windows phone, your phone’s Bluetooth needs to first be turned on. You’ll find it in your phone’s Settings menu. Your phone will start searching for new devices around you.

Navigate to the Bluetooth menu on your Entune radio. Select the Setup button from your Home screen, then select Bluetooth. Then, tap the Add button that displays to begin the pairing procedure.

On your phone, select your Toyota Vehicle.
In your Settings menu, your vehicle should have appeared in the list of available devices. Tap Toyota Vehicle, which begins the pairing. You might need to enter your phone’s PIN number at this point if requested.

Your Entune radio will confirm your phone has paired. Now that you’ve paired your Bluetooth with Entune Audio in your vehicle, it will begin to transfer your audio and contacts to your head unit, and a confirmation will display.

Use the Bluetooth controls on your radio or steering wheel. You can initiate a phone call by tapping the Voice Command button on the steering wheel or radio. Pick up an incoming call with the phone pick-up button, or hang up the call with the receiver down button.
