Tire and Wheel Protection: Because Flat Tires are a Bad Time

September 8th, 2017 by

If you’ve ever had a flat tire, you know how much fun it isn’t. It always happens at the worst possible time in your day or week. It’s when you’re on your way to a job interview, late for the Kansas City Chiefs season-opener, or when your cell phone has just died. We can’t help you with the circumstances, but we can ease the pain with Tire and Wheel Protection through Toyota Financial Services.

What is Tire and Wheel Protection?

It isn’t cheap to deal with a flat tire, and it’s an expense you’re probably not prepared to pay out-of-pocket. That’s why Toyota Financial Services offers Tire and Wheel Protection, a prepaid plan that covers costs when you’re feeling ‘deflated’.

Tire and Wheel Protection is like an insurance plan for your tires. When you experience tire damage due to eligible road hazards, you get a new tire installed through your protection plan. It’s simple as that.

What Does it Cover?

There are three plans available: Platinum, Platinum Plus, and Key Replacement Protection.

  • Platinum covers tire replacement due to road hazards, and wheel replacement if it won’t hold the seal with your new tire. It also covers installation costs and associated fees related to the tire replacement.
  • Platinum Plus adds Paintless Dent Repair and Windshield Repair to your road hazard plan. Both services can be done at your location with a mobile repair provider.
  • Key Replacement Protection adds coverage in the event your key is lost, stolen, or damaged, up to $800 per occurrence. It also gives lockout, towing, and rental assistance for eligible expenses on every claim.

Who is Eligible for Tire and Wheel Protection Plans?

Tire and Wheel Protection is available to all customers who choose Toyota Financial Services for their lease or finance. It can be added to any new Toyota vehicle, Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, or used vehicle. It’s eligible as long as it has been financed through Toyota Financial Services.

It’s like insurance: you hope you don’t have to use it, but you’ll be happy you have it when you do. Learn more about Tire and Wheel Protection plans through Toyota Financial Services at your local dealer, Jay Wolfe Toyota in Kansas City.
