What’s New for the 2025 Toyota Sequoia
The Toyota Sequoia is one of the few vehicles that can handle family trips, off-roading, and endless adventures. This new 2025 model comes with some interesting upgrades you won’t want to miss, like massaging front seats and an exclusive color, Mudbath, that draws its roots from the Lone Star State where it’s built.
While new style and comfort features are a great start, the 2025 Toyota Sequoia gets even better; stick around to find out more.
Powerful Engine
First and foremost, we have to start with the engine. The 2025 Toyota Sequoia comes with one of Toyota’s more powerful powertrains; the i-FORCE MAX powertrain that delivers 437 horsepower and 583 ft-lbs of torque from its twin-turbo V6 hybrid engine. This is enough power to tow just under 10,000 pounds! Plus, the 2025 Sequoia has features that make towing a breeze including the Tow Tech Package, which is available on all Sequoia grades.
Power aside, it comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission to help you smoothly go from gear to gear. Several grades will also be available depending on your needs, with some models having a part-time 4WD system controlled via a transfer case that’s connected to the center console.
Toyota Safety Sense
When we tell you the 2025 Toyota Sequoia is a family vehicle, you might think we’re crazy based on the powerful motor and rugged design. However, with Toyota Safety Sense you’re getting top-tier safety features like the Pre-Collision with Pedestrian Detection that can detect pedestrians and other vehicles when you might not see them.
To take this a step further, Toyota Safety Sense has active features that can help you steer clear of danger including subtle braking and steering adjustments that keep you safe without making you feel like you’re not in control.
Some of the most notable features of the Toyota Safety Sense line include:
- Road Sign Detection
- Blind Spot Monitor
- Rear Cross-Traffic Alert
- Front and Rear Parking Assist with Automatic Braking
- Rear Seat Reminder
If that’s not enough, don’t worry, it gets even better. 2025 Toyota Sequoia models are equipped with Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist that work together to alert you to other vehicles on the road.
Toyota Audio Multimedia
A system that was first introduced in the Toyota Tundra, new 2025 Toyota Sequoia models will come equipped with an 8-inch or 14-inch touchscreen. It controls the Toyota Audio Multimedia system that comes packed with sight, voice, and touch activation.
The sound system is also phenomenal, and each grade comes with premium speakers that help you enjoy every moment of the music you’re listening to.
